Rogers High School Summer Training Program
The Summer program consists of on-ice and off-ice training to improve individual skills while implementing team chemistry.
The program consists of individual skill work, positional work, European edge work, explosive and lateral quickness skating; and small area games designed for skating, hands, compete, scoring, body positioning, body contact, puck protection and hockey sense.
Off-ice training will focus on building their speed, strength and athletic training.
Goalie Specific training will be provided.
June 14 - July 31
Weekly On Ice Schedule: Session groups will vary
(On ice times are tentative and will be finalized by May.)
10:30 am - 11:30 am (Forwards)
11:40 am - 12:40 pm (Defense)
6:50 am - 7:50 am (Group 2 on ice, Group 1 off ice)
8:00 am - 9:00 am (Group 1 on ice, Group 2 off ice)
10:30 am - 11:30 am (Group 2)
11:40 am - 12:40 pm (Group 1)
6:50 am - 7:50 am (Everybody)
RHS Off Ice Program:
Off-ice training will be lead by Matt Kelley, Jake Parenteau and Easton Miller. The Staff will work with the kids to build their speed, strength and athletic training.
